The Help Desk offers on-site hardware installation of certain hardware devices or peripherals.
On-site hardware and/or peripheral installation consists of internal and external devices such as:
- Memory
- Hard Drives (external or internal)
- Certain Internal Cables
- Laptop Batteries
- Laptop Monitors
- MP3 Player
- Optical Drives
- Keyboard and/or Mouse
Note: The Help Desk Student Technicians will need to run an evaluation or your device to see if this service will be possible. Some manufacturers, such as Apple, have taken measures to make the process of replacing hardware on their device difficult for 3rd party technicians.
