Equipment Loan Program

Students :

To start the equipment request process, students should contact the TCNJ CARES team located within the Office of the Dean of Students with the request.  A team member will review the request and if approved, Information Technology will work with the TCNJ CARES team to fill the request for the designated period of time.

TCNJ CARES is located in room 220 of the Brower Student Center and can also be reached at care@tcnj.edu or 609-771-2780.

Faculty & Staff :

To request loaner equipment (ie. microphones, laptops, webcameras, etc) for short term use in either a classroom or event space, please submit your request through the MTSS equipment reservation system, WebCheckOut.   This system will allow you to reserve the equipment in your name, communicate with MTSS as to where, when, and what time you would like to have the equipment delivered, as well as what time MTSS should retrieve the equipment once you are done with it (some items are user pick up and return only and are clearly labeled).  Most equipment reservations must be made 72 hours in advance to insure availability of the requested equipment.

This request system should not be used if your primary TCNJ computer is in need of servicing/repair, see the Service/Repair section below for details on how to start that process.

Service/Repair Loaners :

In the event that your primary TCNJ Computer is in need of service/repair, please contact the TCNJ Help Desk who will create a service ticket.  Your Support Specialist will reach out to you and set up a time when you can bring it in and be provided a loaner computer during that period.
