Google Workspace - Core v. Non Core Apps

Core Apps

Core Apps are apps covered by an agreement between TCNJ and Google.  TCNJ owns this data and the users' data is not indexed by Google for advertising purposes. Therefore, these apps will not have ads served on them when logged in with a TCNJ account. Below is a complete list of Core Apps available by logging on with TCNJ credentials.

Non - Core Apps

Additional services are offered by Google when using a TCNJ account. These Non-Core Apps are governed by a contract between the user and Google and are not included in TCNJ's contract with Google.

The data created while using these apps is not owned by the College and is indexed by Google. Therefore, they could be used for advertising purposes. In addition, these apps do not offer the same agreements in terms of FERPA, confidentiality, ownership, or safety. Users should be aware of these aspects before using these services.

Below is a complete list of Non-Core Apps available by logging on with TCNJ credentials.
