If you are Faculty/Staff, this is done through the Oracle Cloud system. The Help Desk cannot do this for you.
To do this through Oracle Cloud:
Add an office phone number
- Log into Oracle Cloud
- Select "Contact Info" on the left under "Quick Actions"
- If you do not see this there, click "Show More" and it will be under "Personal Info"
- Click the "+ Add" option at the top of the "Communication" section and choose "Phone Details"
- Keep "Country" as "United States 1"
- *Type will be "Business"
- "Area Code" is 609
- "*Number" will be in the format of 771____ with your extension filling in the blank with no spaces, dashes, or slashes
- Keep "Extension" blank
- "*From Date" will automatically be set to the current day
- Keep the "To Date" blank
- Check the "Primary" box
- Click "Submit"
- This will update in the directory overnight
Change an office phone number
- Log into Oracle Cloud
- Select "Contact Info" on the left under "Quick Actions"
- If you do not see this there, click "Show More" and it will be under "Personal Info"
- Click the pencil icon at the end of the "Business" field under "Communication

- The only part of this you need to edit are the last 4-digits of the "*Number" section that should already be in the format of 771____
- Click "Submit"
- This will update in the directory overnight
