Drive is an app that allows you to store, sync, and share files with ease. Keep all your work in one place, view different file formats without buying extra software, and access your files from any device. For instructions on how to use the system, click here.
If you are using Google Drive for Desktop, Google has alerted us to the following for the most recent update (Version 84):
"Following a recent update to Drive for desktop version 84, which began rolling out on November 13, 2023, a limited subset of users have reported issues in which it may appear as if some files have been reverted. These users may have seen notifications saying 'Something went wrong', 'Drive for desktop stopped running', and 'Try restarting the application'."
They have also provided us with the following instructions for any impacted Users
- Do not click “Disconnect account” within Drive for desktop
- Do not delete or move the app data folder:
- Windows:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\DriveFS
- MacOS:~/Library/Application
Support/Google/DriveFS
- Optional: If you have room on your hard drive, we recommend making a copy of the app data folder.
