To start this process, your TCNJ Google Account must be a "Manager" of the Shared Drive. To have your privileges elevated, please contact the IT Help Desk.
In your TCNJ Google Account
- Open your TCNJ Google Drive
- Navigate to the Shared Drive where your files are stored.
- Click "Manage members"
- Enter your personal Gmail address and assign yourself the Content Manager role and click "Send."
In your Personal Google Account
- Log into Your Personal Google Drive
- Open the Shared Drive folder
- Highlight the files and sub-folders you want to move
- Right-click the files or folders you want to move, select “Organize” > "Move"
- When the window comes up, select “All Locations” tab > "My Drive" (under your personal account) > select "Move"
- You will be prompted with a notification to verify to "Make yourself the new owner?" > select "Move"
**NOTE: Please be sure to confirm that your Personal Google Account has enough free storage to accommodate the contents of the TCNJ Shared Drive you want to move**
