There are instances where certain applications require administrative access to be installed and/or updated. Make Me Admin is an application used to grant authorized users administrative access on TCNJ issued computers, which will allow such applications the ability to complete installations or updates. Use of Make Me Admin should only be initiated when needed and for programs that are deemed secure to use.
Below are the instructions on how to use Make Me Admin:

While logged with your TCNJ credentials, click on the “Make Me Admin” icon on the desktop, or press the start button and search for “Make Me Admin” to launch the application

When Make Me Admin launches, click on the button that says “Grant Me Administrator Rights”. This will grant your account administrator access for 15 minutes or until the application you are installing/updating no longer requires elevated access.

You can remove your administrator access by again launching Make Me Admin and clicking on the button that says “Remove My Administrator Rights”
