Guest Printing in the Library

Body

As a public institution, TCNJ offers guest printing services to the outside community at the R. Barbara Gitenstein Library.

This article will tell you hot to both create a guest account for printing and how to release your print jobs once you've sent them to the printer.

Creating a PrintSense Guest Account

To set up a guest printing account, please follow these steps:

  1. Head to the Access Services counter and request a Papercut Card for guest printing

  2. At one of the library computers, go to the website printsense.tcnj.edu and select "Register as a guest User" to create your account

  3. Provide the requested information to register your account

  4. On the confirmation page that appears, click the "Login" button to go back to the original PrintSense login page where your username will already be filled in
  5. From the landing page, select "Redeem Card" on the left-hand menu

  6. Enter the card number on the Papercut Card you received from Access Services

  7. A $5 balance will now be on your account and you will be able to send print jobs to the library printers
    • If you ever run out of the $5, you can go to Access Services to request another card and add redeem it starting from step 5 of these instructions

Sending a File to the Printers

Since you are logged in on a guest account on the TCNJ computers, you will need to follow the instructions for Web Printing to send your documents to the library printers.

Releasing your Print Jobs

Once you have a username and password, you can go up to any printer in the library to log in using the touch screen to enter your PrintSense credentials and release any print jobs you have waiting.
