The following are guides to the different features for the physical phones associated to Zoom Phone accounts.

Button Key:

  • Dialing Out
    • For internal calls, dial the extension you want to reach and press Call.
    • For external calls, first dial “8” then the number you want to reach and press Call.
  • Redialing 
    • Press the redial button to open the Placed Calls List, and use the directional buttons to navigate to the number you wish redial then press Call.
    • To dial out the last dialed number, press the redial button twice while the phone is idle.
  • Muting
    • You can mute your voice while on a call by pressing the mute button
  • Hold a Call
    • Press the hold button to hold during active calls.
    • To resume the call, do one of the following:
      • If there’s only one call on hold, press the hold button or Resume.
      • If there’s more than one call on hold, use the directional arrows to select the desired call, then press either the hold button or Resume.
  • Transferring a Call
    • Press the transfer button or Transfer during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
      • NOTE: If you press the soft Transfer button and see the options "Transfer Call" and "Transfer to Voicemail" you must choose "Transfer Call" as the "Transfer to Voicemail" option is not available.
    • Enter the number you want to transfer to.
    • Press the transfer button or B Transfer.
  • Forwarding a Call
    • To enable Call Forwarding:
      • Navigate to Menu>Features>Call Forward.
      • Select the desired forward type:
        • Always Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded unconditionally.
        • Busy Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded when the phone is busy.
        • No Answer Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded if not answered after a period of time.
      • Enter the number you want to forward to. For No Answer Forward select the desired ring time to wait before forwarding from the After Ring Time field.
      • Press Save to accept the change.
  • Initiating a Conference Call
    • Press Conference during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
    • Enter the number of the second party, and then press Call.
    • Press Conference again when the second party answers. Three parties are now joined in the conference.
  • Voicemail
    • The message waiting indicator on the idle screen indicates that one or more voicemail messages are waiting at the message center. The power indicator LED slowly flashes red.
      • Press the voicemail button or Connect.
      • Follow the voice prompts to listen to your voicemail message.
    • You will need to setup your pin number on your Zoom account by signing in at zoom.us, then going to the Phone tab to update your voicemail pin.
  • Managing Call History
    • Press History.
    • Navigate to your selected entry from the list.
    • Do the following:
      • Press Call to call the entry.
      • Press Delete to delete the entry from the list.
      • Press Option, and you can do the following:
        • Select Detail to view detailed information about the entry
        • Select Add to Contacts to add the entry to the local directory.
        • Select Add to Blacklist to add the entry to the blacklist.
        • Select Delete All to delete all entries from the list.
  • Setting Ring Tones
    • Navigate to Menu>Basic>Sound>Ring Tones.
    • Use the arrow buttons to select Common or the desired account and then press Enter.
    • Use the arrow buttons to select the desired ring tone.
    • Press Save to accept the change.
  • Searching the Directory
    • Select Directory.
    • Use the arrow keys to navigate to LDAP and press the OK button.
    • Use your number keys to type in the name you are searching for.
    • Use the arrow keys to navigate to the name you’d like to call and press Call.
